Team

Here are of the four core key pixel producers. They all have done all the dirty jobs of acting, directing, camera manhandling, prop destroying, story hacking and other fun production stuff.

ANDREW HOOKWAY - [homepage] - [IMDb]
Andrew Hookway has been into filming since late 2002, and truly began in early 2004 with a digital still camera using MPEG recording. From these humble beginnings, he emerged as a creative writer, an intuitive eye behind a camera, and  an ingenious editor. He made a lasting connection with Justin Monk of Prim and Proper Productions in August of 2004, and the two have since worked on numerous projects together. Finally getting his own camera in November of 2004, he has been able to film to his heart's content and beyond.

JUSTIN MONK - [ IMDb]
Justin Monk A graphic designer by trade, a strong love of art brought Justin onto various projects ranging from set design to acting. His involvement with half a dozen amateur stage productions and a number of independent and fan film productions has been a wild rollercoaster ride, giving him insight into an art form many take for granted.

Justin has started up and starred in a number of films, portraying characters ranging from a stoic Jedi to a heartless villain, and doing his best to project any scrambling of acting he can.

Fan films were Justin’s first foray into the medium, creating a complicated Star Wars film that ended up crashing due to personal feelings from cast members. In a struggle to try and make a Star Wars film Justin took a new approach and gathered around him in what would later make most of Key Pixel core members.

When not pushing for films or coming up with ideas for films, Justin enjoys fight choreography, photography, and other more interesting endeavors.

Laszlo KovacsWhen not daydreaming about film and food Laszlo Kovacs is a Security Specialist for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Trying to alleviate the boredom of this monotone existence he’s worked on film projects produced in the bad old days of VHS-C and has since been introduced to the digital age more often than not winding up in the co-director’s chair assisting with low plot/high action Star Wars fan films as well as consulting on the writing and choreography for other production teams.

In an attempt to create something original, Laszlo restructured the Writer's Block Media fiction group to found the Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers, inviting colleagues from past successful film projects. Taking advantage of the assembled talent, he wrote the screenplay for and set in motion the production of the post-cyberpunk thriller UCF: Toronto Cybercide as the group’s flagship title.
